I started buying art before I could really afford to, which is how I learned that the hardest part of collecting isn't the money — it's knowing where to look, and trusting your own eye.

For fifteen years I worked on the other side of that — building audiences for corporates and art institutions like the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow (if you don't know it: picture Monet, Matisse, Cézanne and Picasso under one roof, and more than a million visitors a year. One exhibition I worked on there became the most-visited the museum had seen in forty years).

Artsycret is my answer to that. I work with artists across Europe and bring you a small, curated selection at a time, at prices that make sense for a first piece rather than a serious investment.

I'm based in Berlin, where I spend most of my time in studios, at fairs, and in exhibitions here and in Europe — and I share what I find along the way on my social media.
